Paul Dektor’s work is infused with a hearty dose of documentary style mixed with a cinematic eye creating films that always connect viewers to the characters. It’s through seemingly unscripted and natural performances or with effortless dialog that Paul tells stories.

Born in South Africa, Paul learned the art of filmmaking at an early age, on the sets of his father Leslie Dektor, a renowned director who has influenced generations of filmmakers. Motion picture cameras were his tools growing up, allowing him to explore and experiment with various techniques until he could craft films that were filled with subtle emotions and imbued with an underlying optimism.

Paul has created powerful spots for clients that include AT&T, UPS, Disney, Miller Genuine Draft, Visa and Apes, The Conservation Trust, the latter winning a Lion at the Cannes Film Festival.
