The visual sophistication that made Kacho López a 7-time nominee and two-time winning Latin Grammy award winning director for music videos is the spark that has made the Puerto Rican a sought-after filmmaker.

Kacho started his career as a graphic designer on album cover art before his first directing gig in 2003. In 2011, he directed the music videos for Reggaeton/Underground artists like Tego Calderón and Daddy Yankee which quickly made him one of the most sought-after directors in Latin America. Since then, he’s been non-stop directing some of the most iconic music videos for megastars like Bad Bunny, Ricky Martin, Juanes, Daddy Yankee, Ednita Nazario, Calle 13, Tego Calderón, Chayanne, iLe, Zion & Lennox among others while also directing advertising campaigns for notable clients like Samsung, T-Mobile, L’Oréal.

Kacho lives in San Juan, Puerto Rico, where he mentors young filmmakers and is an avid cyclist.
