Although Diana Kunst’s work is guided by her roots as a still photographer, where light, framing and composition are carefully considered, ultimately her focus is on story and characters. Whether her branded films are for fashion brands, a skateboard company, a bank, an optics chain or telecommunication companies, Diana is equally at home, finding the unique personalities that fuel those narratives.

Diana was born with a still camera in her hand leading her to the prestigious Escuela de Arte La Palma in Madrid where she got her bachelors in fine art photography at a young age. With the advent of digital cameras with cinematic quality video, Diana continued her studies in cinema, television and photography but she dropped out 3 months before finishing, opting instead to use her newfound freedom of experimenting with film by shooting special underground performances in Madrid and London.

She was only 19 years old when her work came to the attention of prominent production companies. A few years later, and Diana has already earned industry recognition by winning multiple awards, including a Silver Lions from the Cannes Film Festival. She splits her time between Madrid and New York but is equally at happy on the road, camera in hand.
