With a sophisticated visual style, Martín’s films are in a category all their own. Whether imbued with an underlying humor, capturing the distinct style of a period picture or creating a highly stylized piece, Martín always delivers a captivating film.

Martín grew up in Argentina, studying music, sculpture and photography at the University of Buenos Aires. He completed his graduate studies at New York University and transitioned to directing music videos. The Argentine Film Council granted Martín an award to direct “Candela” a film that gained international recognition at many festivals around the world, kicking off his directing career into high gear. Before long, Martín would win many prestigious advertising awards and work with top advertising agencies and brands on hundreds of commercials including adidas, Axe, Coca Cola, Comcast, DirecTV, Peugeot, Nissan, etc.

Martín is an active member of the Directors Guild of America and DAMA, the Spanish screenwriter’s guild. He continues to write award winning screenplays and has published two novels, including bestselling “¡Oiga Bien!” (Penguin Random House 2017). He is based in Madrid, Spain.
